Millions Of People Struggle Alone With EFD. If Life Feels Difficult, It Can Be So Much Better.

What is Executive Dysfunction?

Executive Dysfunction is a range of behavioral symptoms that impact a person’s ability to manage and regulate their actions, emotions, and thoughts.

Executive functions encompass a set of mental skills that are crucial for managing time, paying attention, switching focus, planning and organizing, remembering details, and controlling impulses. If you struggle with any of these skills, you may strongly benefit from Executive Function Coaching.

What Does Life Look Like With EFD (Executive Dysfunction)?

Executive Dysfunction can make life seem impossible. You’re often left trying twice as hard to only get half as far - leaving you stressed out, burned out, and hopeless.

Do any of these resonate with you?

I procrastinate until the last minute on everything, and need pressure to get started. I can clean my entire house/apartment in a day, but only if someone is coming over.
I struggle with impulse control and goals. I’ll binge when I’m on a diet, impulsively shop when I’m trying to save money, or have difficulty with my drinking at random times.
I’m either hyper-focused on one thing (to the point that I’ll forget to eat), or I’m trying to do a million things at once and I get distracted very easily.
I’m kind to other people but deal with a lot of negative self-talk. I’ll beat myself up for days over mistakes, I lack confidence, and I struggle with imposter syndrome.
I want to do the things I know I should be doing, like brush my teeth, shower, get work done, etc, but I feel paralyzed by the thought of actually doing them.
I’m very unorganized and I’m late to everything all the time. I’ve tried lists, courses, calendars and other things to try to keep me on track but they didn’t help in the long run.
My memory is terrible! I can’t remember where I put things and I lose my keys and phone all of the time. I’ll walk into a room and literally forget what I went in there to do.
I have a hard time starting difficult or boring projects, and I get so stressed out over my procrastination that I can’t relax. It’s a vicious cycle that I can’t stop.
I can’t switch tasks! It keeps me from getting anything done. If I’m interrupted during a task I’ll struggle with the new one, and can't get back into the zone for the first task.

If so, you’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to be like this forever.

Executive Dysfunction manifests itself in many ways (including outside of those listed above). If you are struggling and don’t see your personal obstacles in the list above, please continue reading more examples or reach out for a consultation to learn more about how we can help.

Those Negative Things You Tell Yourself? They’re Not True. And We’re Here To Prove It To You

We’re on a mission to end the stigma associated with Executive Dysfunction and empower adults to enhance executive functions & achieve their full potential through transformative, personalized coaching.

We’ll help you understand: “Why I function the way I function, how to work with the way I function, and why that way of functioning isn't bad.”

Did you know? Executive Dysfunction is commonly associated with ADHD, Autism and other neurological disorders, but is also experienced by people who have cognitive impairments due to injury, illness, or other factors. Executive Dysfunction may occur after an “invisible injury,” (an injury that doesn’t show up on x-rays and other tests), making it extremely difficult for the patient to be taken seriously by Physicians.

Executive Dysfunction & Neurodiversity

86 Billion Neurons. 1 Unique YOU.

Our brains are complex, incredible organs that are largely responsible for who you are as a person.

All 86 billion neurons in your brain work together, forming over 100 TRILLION synapses (connections to each other). This unfathomably large number translates to the amount of cells that are constantly communicating in your brain, sending and receiving signals that make you uniquely YOU.

Sometimes, we need help learning how to best work with the way our brains function. At We The Billions, we believe that everyone, regardless of the struggles they face in their daily lives, deserves to be understood, accepted for who they are, and given the help they need to not only succeed in life, but enjoy it.
